Remesias wakes up.

“What! Wait I can’t see shit. Where am I? What was that dream.”

A system notification pops up in front of him.

“THE PLANET, HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSE TO DO THAT!”

User must kill the insectoids to grow stronger, abilities that are available are from the Path: Becoming One with Darkness

“Right, you said that in the dream, and Nu forced it on me. What does this path entail for abilities?”

Abilities:
Shadow Transformation: Become darkness, User’s body is able to transform into darkness allowing user to traverse shadows.
Note: Think of yourself as the tool, right now you need to find creativity.

“Find creativity, sounds like Nu… okay, how do I transform?”

Remesias’s body begins to fade into the cave.

“Woah, this is weird, how do I move? I can’t even feel my body here. No wait I can. This feels… like a network I am in the obscure tunnel its a dead end.”

“Why did you pop that message up?”

Simple, you learned how to feel your body while in your Darkness form

“You can do that? Wait level 1? System explain levels”

Abilities can be acquired and grown, the more User uses an ability the better the user is able to wield it. Levels pertain to that mastery

“Why doesn’t Darkness Transformation have a level? It should be something I can grow no?”

“Strange why didn’t you just do that in the first place? Anyway lets just get out of here”

Remesias uses his new found ability to traverse the tunnel.

“Its strange to travel like this, I can feel my body, but its not the same as it was. Almost like I a compressing it to a small shape and I’m moving in that shape. Almost like a slime I guess.”

Remesias eventually finds the hole he dove into.

“Hmm, I can’t go past this in darkness?”

No, You cannot traverse with darkness in areas with light

“I see, that makes sense in a way, shadow is where light isn't. How can I transform back?”

System Disabling skill

Remesias’s body reconstructs back to the room.

“Do I have to ask you every time to do that?”

No, I can help activate but – Just think of transforming and it will do it for you.

“System, what are these weird comments?”

Remesias moves carefully to higher ground above the ruins.

“Creativity, creativity, how will that help me kill a freaking ant… Just got to think this through. I can become shadow and traversing it can help me do sneak attacks on them. That would be one way, but their exoskeletons are not easy to crack with just a normal physical weapon. Physical… hmmm”

“Just think it right”

Remesias fades and becomes apart of the shadows.

“Where the light isn’t… then if I am in shadow…”

Remesias turns back into his material form.

“Can I change a part of myself into shadow… and can I change it to something else …”

Remesias’s arm becomes shadow, and morphs into a solid black blade

Partial Shadow Transformation: User can transform parts of his body to shadow
Shadow Weaponry: User can transform his shadow body into weapons

“That’s what you mean by creativity… lets test this out then.”

Remesias stabs his blade into the building, causing the building to collapse.

Scraping sounds began to converse at the location. A single scout arrives at the scene looking the building unable to detect any life.
As the ant walks a blade from underneath his neck pops out. The ants head rolls on the floor.
Remesias on top of the ant grins.
